Also, I want to thank my Dad for coming with me this weekend - it was great to spend some time with him.

Congratulations
I would like to start this report by congratulating all my fellow OMRRA racers and competitors, specifically a few key players:
Alan Schmidt - Al, congratulations on your unprecedented seventh overall title with OMRRA. Bud you own this place like no one else. Also, huge congrats on your upcoming addition to the family!
Tony Porter - Tony, what can I say. It's fantastic to see you riding so well with so much control. I look forward to seeing you on track next year. Congrats on your well deserved wins my friend!
Chris Ancien - Chris, congrats on riding so well this season. I can honestly say that your form forced us to find another level. I appreciate your tenacity.
Kevin & Brian Pinkstaff - Lads, it's an absolute honour to be on track with you. Brian, you're riding exceptionally well. Keep this up and I'll be a lapped rider in no time! Kevin, congrats on your return to winning form. Glad I don't race 750's! It's exciting to see you both of you doing so well. I know Keith is smiling.

The races.
I'm struggling to keep this short as I have so much to say and don't want to bore you with too many details.
Coming into this weekend we had one job to do; win every race. In each of our respective classes we were in contention to capture the championships provided we won the race. Seems simple enough doesn't it? Saturday's 600 race was extremely tough. We started the race on dry tires but by lap six the rain had returned soaking the track which made things extremely challenging. Luckily we managed to keep the bike upright and get the win. Sunday came and brought with it a huge weather system and torrential rains. In the 600 superbike race we set out and just managed to keep ourselves upright for the win despite the horrid conditions. At this point we had been extremely fortunate to capture two class championships, but the "big one" was still ahead. Formula Ultra (our SuperBike class). Going into the race I had a small points lead over Alan Schmidt and Tony Porter, but that lead wasn't enough for me to take it easy and get the championship. Simply put we had to finish in front of Al if we wanted to win; no easy task I assure you. For the race we opted to ride, yet again, our 600 as conditions were wet, wet, wet. I got a decent start and pushed hard to get into the lead. I had to make everything count as I knew this was going to take everything we had and then some. Regrettably my race ended on lap six when the front tire tucked in turn eight sending me sliding off the track (unhurt - picture to the left). To be honest, the next few moments were hard for me to deal with as I watched our championship hopes literally slide away. As they say, that's racing. I've had my share of fortune in racing and this just wasn't my day. This time I wasn't able to deliver the goods for the team, but I have to accept what happened, learn from it, move on and come back stronger.

The "thank you" section! There are so many people, sponsors, friends and family who make this possible. I thank you all!
